About Christine
As a well-respected family support professional, Christine Meadows (MNP) has helped numerous parents overcome the challenges associated with raising young children. Specialising in new families, from pre-pregnancy to parents of children up to two-years-old, Christine’s approach encourages parents to develop emotional resiliance by helping them build confidence in their parenting skills and intuition.
Christine is the author of the adult Preparenting Programme®; the profound new way of preparing for parenthood and being a Preparent. She has also been educating young people in schools with her teaching programme - Preparenting Programme for Young People - read about this in the Blog.
Christine has sat on a number of hospital committees and the Community Health Council, and has carried out work for the voluntary sector, including chairing a Greater London branch of the National Childbirth Trust (NCT). Establishing herself as recognised ambassador for positive parenting, she is a contributor to several BBC local radio stations, has contributed articles to parenting press, led workshops and seminars, and launched a series of audio guides championing confident parenting.
By empowering new parents through a philosophy based on awareness, planning, taking responsibility and establishing a set of family values, Christine believes that her message is relevant not just for parents, but anyone interested in connecting with a wider sense of community and society.
